METAL BLADE Inks Distribution Deal With SONY

Sony Music Entertainment Germany GmbH and Metal Blade Records Inc. have entered into a long-term, exclusive distribution deal.

With immediate effect, Sony Music will take over the physical distribution of all new releases from Metal Blade Records in Germany and Austria. The back catalog will gradually be taken over as well. This deal ensures Metal Blade Records a bright future in an ever-changing market.

"Metal Blade is a leading force in the global metal scene and will strengthen its position with the help of this new distribution deal with Sony," stated Simon Füllemann, Head of Marketing & Distribution for Metal Blade in Europe.
